Akintunde Oyebode Sworn In As Commission For Finance and Economic Development In Ekiti State

Under 40 CEO Akintunde Oyebode has been appointed as the Commissioner for Finance and Economic Development in Ekiti state.

Akintunde Oyebode was confirmed for the new position alongside 13 others for the role of commissioner and special advisers. The other appointed commissioners are Oyebanji Filani, former Ekiti Labour Party Chairman, Akin Omole; former Commissioner for Works, Oladiran Adesua, Olabimpe Aderiye, Maryam Ogunlade, Olabode Adetoyi and Iyabo Fakunle-Okhieme.

Prior to his appointment, Mr Oyebode served as a Special Adviser on Investment, Trade and Innovation in Ekiti state.

Mr Oyebode is a trained economist, who served as the executive secretary of the Lagos State Empowerment Trust Fund (LSETF), a fund established to provide financial support to residents of Lagos State for job, wealth creation and to tackle unemployment.
