Ideas are important but execution is everything!
Underestimating the power of execution for any idea or project could be fatal.
So, next time you’re coming up with those amazing ideas, ask yourself a few questions to help you get started:
1. Purpose – Why is this important?
2.Timing – Is it time to execute this?
3. Steps – What are all the steps I must take to bring this idea to life?
4. Scale of preference – What is the most important step I must take today, this week, now?
Once the questions have been satisfactorily answered:
1. Keep it simple – Take step 1 and once satisfactorily completed take the next step.
2. Reevaluate – Chances are you didn’t totally think through the steps and may need to occasionally re-prioritise.
3. Appraise – Stand back for a moment when it all comes together to ensure it is meeting its purpose.
4. Deploy – Get it doing what it should be doing, achieving its purpose.
